The large ormolu and Carrara marble case most likely by Louis-Stanislas Lenoir-Ravrio.
Stamped LR within a diamond cartouche which is most likely none other than Louis-Stanislas Lenoir Ravrio the adopted son of Antoine Ravrio the celebrated sculptor to Napoleon I.
This remarkable case houses a 14 day bell striking movement by Henry Marc, Paris with original silk suspension and pendulum. The white enamel Roman numeral dial with Henry Marc Paris stamped above the VI. 
Ravrio’s cases often realise over five figures when seen at auction.
